Restaurant

A former loading dock and disused retail space with low ceilings were reduced to their shell to begin life anew as a gourmet snack counter and wine bar. One counter serves customers with a view into the kitchen, as the other overlooks the alley and street. A long banquette reflects the ambient light and space. LED lighting and stained apple plywood mingle with French wallpaper, glazed subway tiles, and mirror-finish epoxy floors to create a setting for the open kitchen that is industrial yet familiar.
